The Latin name for Bari is Barium and was one of the cross-roads for Julius Caesar supplying a major seaport

Bari is the capital city of the province of Bari and Apulia Region located in Southern Italy. It one of the major seaports and still is today.

The original name of Bari comes from the French but is well known in the Italian Culture throughout history.
